This is another EU project dedicated to reviving and promoting the profession of shipbuilding in Europe by making knowledge and techniques available in digital form. The Traditional Maritime Skills project (www.boat-building.org) ended about 10 years ago, but fortunately some of the gathered knowledge is still available. Similar to the All Hands on Deck 360° project, the Traditional Maritime Skills project aimed at preserving traditional boatbuilding skills and preparing them in multimedia form for a (at that time) innovative learning system.
