Atlantic Arc Workshop Materials

Mar 1, 2024

The All Hands on Deck 360° Online Workshop was conducted by the University of Murcia for stakeholders in the Atlantic Arc area on February 8, 2024 in Spanish.

The workshop/video was divided into two main blocks:

  1. Presentation of the project with its project partners, objectives, maritime areas, results and website
  2. Introduction to the collaborative portal with the individual functionalities such as registration, login, setting up the profile, explanation of the groups, forums, events.

To ensure that stakeholders who couldn’t attend the live workshop weren’t left behind, a post-production video recording was made available on the AHOD360 YouTube channel. Tailored specifically for shipwrights, VET teachers, students, representatives of shipyards, museums, product providers, VET centers, research institutions, and policy makers, the video serves as a comprehensive resource for understanding the workshop content and utilizing the collaborative portal effectively.

The aim of the Workshop was to present the All Hands on Deck shipwright collaborative portal. The portal serves as a dynamic platform that enables professionals and learners across Europe to share knowledge, ask questions, and exchange ideas, fostering a vibrant community dedicated to boatbuilding.

Key features of the collaborative portal:

  • Digital Stakeholder Map: Explore a map featuring over 300 organizations that play an important role in boatbuilding in Europe. These include boatyards, shipyards, museums, cluster organizations, boat-building schools, and more. Each entry provides a brief description of their role and activities, along with a link to their website
  • Discussion forums: Engage with shipwright enthusiasts through discussion forums. Whether you want to share your latest project, respond to questions from students and learners, or simply connect with like-minded individuals, the portal offers a space for open and collaborative dialogue.
  • Networking opportunities: Connect with shipwrights, shipyards, and learners from across Europe. The Shipwright Collaborative Portal provides a space to strengthen contacts and relationships between boatbuilding professionals and enthusiasts, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and know-how
